Croatia Flotilla Prices 2010

The Croatia flotilla is based from Betina Marina on Murter Island. You join the yacht from 1700hrs onwards on the first Saturday afternoon, sleep that night on the yacht and then sail as part of a flotilla from the Sunday morning. The yacht then returns to the home port the following Friday afternoon, after a full six days sailing, you sleep that last Friday night on board and then depart by 0900 hrs on the Saturday morning. Anybody having a two week flotilla holiday can either choose to return with us or to have some free sailing over the middle weekend, before joining the rest of the group the following week.
Yachts available are either those from our In-House fleet which are only ever used by us and sail as part of our flotilla, as well as yachts that we bring in from local Bareboat suppliers, and which form our Bareboat-Flotilla fleet. Bareboat-Flotilla yachts can also be based from two nearby marinas and this will be clarified at the time of booking. For further details please see Bareboat-Flotilla explained.
All flotilla yacht prices are quoted and paid for in Euros, with the only exception being a sterling price list for certain yachts from our in house fleet for UK residents that are paying directly in the UK. All prices are per yacht per week for the given dates, irrespective of the numbers on board. We no longer operate a per person, flight inclusive price as standard, as there is now a very good range of flights to Croatia from all over Europe, which if you book directly yourselves can often involve considerable savings on your overall holiday cost compared to a flight inclusive package.

We can still provide full ATOL bonded flight inclusive packages (from the UK only) for anybody wanting flights using scheduled or charter flights, but we cannot normally offer this with the Low Cost Airlines like Ryan Air, Easy Jet etc whose business models only allow for bookings made directly on their own web sites.

For any packages booked that do not include flights, all payments to Activity Yachting Holidays are fully protected by means of a Trust Account arrangement , in accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.

Mooring and marina fees must be paid as you go along in Croatia. With a one week flotilla you will always start and finish in a fully serviced marina which is included in the charter cost (so no extra on site payments for showers, water fills etc) and this means that there are only five nights away from the base. Most weeks, unless we are prevented by weather conditions, we will be able to raft in a bay or use a port that does not charge for one or two of those nights, so based on 2008 prices we recommend allowing between 100€ to 150€ for mooring for the week for yachts up to 40ft and based on using a mix of town quays and marinas. Larger yachts with bigger numbers on board should allow up to 200€ for the week. With these costs it should be remembered that the facilities are generally very good, and all marinas have full toilet and shower facilities, lazy lines for mooring, marina staff for assisting while mooring, good security, plenty of fresh water and 220V power hook up's. Where Town Quays charge, they will normally have most of the above although not all have full toilet and shower facilities and in these cases they charge less.

For anybody having a two week flotilla, we try to alter the route each week but there may be an overlap of one or two ports each week, in order to keep mooring cost to a minimum. Any yacht that does not want this can however always choose an alternative nearby port on those nights. For your middle weekend the flotilla lead yachts will return to our base marina although you are under no obligation to do so and can have these nights as free sailing. If however you choose to return to the base marina, you will have free mooring for those nights and you can day sail on the middle Saturday, as there is an excellent range of day sailing options in this area

If you are driving down, all the marinas offer secure parking with the daily rate being between 4€ to 6€ a day in 2008.
Our in-House Fleet:
This list is for yachts from our in house fleet. These yachts are totally managed by us and only ever sail as part of one of our flotillas. They range from our classic two cabin 31 footers (older models but in good condition and kept at keen prices) to our newer three cabin 33 and 35/36 footers. These yachts offer the best prices. Anybody wanting larger yachts or a greater choice of models should see the alternatives from our Bareboat-Flotilla fleet below.

In addition to the above, the following must be paid in cash on arrival on site, to cover the security deposit waiver, port paperwork, gas, end cleaning and fuel.

Deposit is30% of the yacht charter cost and the balance is then due 10 weeks before the holiday commences. Payment by credit card will incur a1.5% surcharge on the above prices.

Outboard engine if required is £50 for one week and £75 for two weeks.
Our Bareboat/Flotilla Fleet:
This list is for yachts from our bareboat/flotilla fleet. These yachts are yachts that we book for you from local bareboat charter companies, acting as an agent, but then incorporate into our flotilla programme, and there is a surcharge of 60€ per yacht per week for this. This allows us to offer a very broad choice of yachts and is ideal for anybody looking for very new yachts, specific models or yachts from 36 to 50 ft. The list below is just a sample of what is available and is a compilation of yachts from different fleets all of which are operated from one of the three marinas on Murter. These yachts also have full back up from the bareboat company supplying them, so they are ideal for anybody that wants to mix some bareboating with flotilla, as you are free to head off at any time that you choose and there are no restrictions on the sailing area. As the yachts are coming from different suppliers, there can be slight differences in booking conditions, security deposits etc, and these are all made clear before any booking is confirmed. If the particular model mentioned is not available, we can usually get you a similar yacht from another supplier, but this may involve some variation from the price indicated. As we normally only run two flotillas a week, there is a limit to the number of these yachts that we can allow to join on any particular week, and anybody taking one of these yachts must have a skippers licence. A non refundable insurance option of 100 to 150€ per week is also available for some yachts, with details available on request.

Fuel is not included and all yachts must be brought back with a full tank.The booking deposit varies between 30% & 50%of the yacht charter cost and the balance is then due 10 weeks before the holiday commences.
