Flights to Croatia from Ireland and the UK for 2010.

As Croatia has a very good range of flight options, all of our holidays exclude flights, so that people can book these themselves. This allows for for maximum flexibility, and you get the best prices, with return flights to Split or Zadar available from London or Dublin starting from £100/120€. To assist you with flights we have prepared the tables below (with links to the relevant airlines), showing all the direct flights ( that we are aware of) from the UK and Ireland to the various airports in Croatia.

For exact timings and prices for specific flights you will have to check each individual airlines website to see what the costs are for any particular date but as a general guide, the cheapest flights will be the Ryan Air ones from Dublin or Stansted to Zadar Airport.

Zadar Airport is also the nearest Airport to Murter which is where we operate our Flotilla, Learn to sail, Bareboat and Sample Package Holidays from. Zadar Airport is a little over 50 miles, while Split Airport is just over 60 miles from Murter. For anybody using either of these airports, we offer shared transfers on Saturdays for 23€ per person, each way, with tailor made transfers available on request on other days.

For Bareboat Charters or people combining some sailing with some independant travelling in Croatia, then is a case of choosing the flight options that best suit your travelling preferences, and we offer Bareboat charter from ports all along the Croatian coast.

Before searching for flights, please note the following

Bareboat charters, Flotillas and Learn to Sail Holidays start from 1700hrs on Saturday afternoons, but you do not normally sail until Sunday morning, so any Saturday to Saturday flight is ok for a simple one week holiday.
Due to flight schedule changes we anticipate being able to accommodate some Friday evening arrivals for our own flotilla and Learn to sail yachts only for 2010, particularly outside of the peak season July and August dates.
Mid week flights are often much cheaper, so if you have the time, it is often well worth considering spending a few days on either side of a sailing week just having a conventional holiday in Croatia and we are happy to provide advice and suggestions on request. The nearest International airports in Croatia to our base on Murter are Split (60 miles) and Zadar (40 miles). Using alternative airports to get to our base is normally only suitable if you have a few extra days and plan some additional traveling around, but Bareboat charter is also available from Dubrovnik, Makarska, Pula and Rijeka.

None of the above airports are near enough to our flotilla base on Murter to provide easy transfers from the airport. They are all however ideal if you are taking a bareboat charter from a port near that particular airport (for most of the season yachts are available on Saturday's only) or combining a sailing trip from Murter with some traveling around in Croatia either before or after the sailing.
